Ghana Division One League side, Wa Suntaa Sporting Club has made interesting statistics in the DOL 2020/2021 season having played nine match so far this season. The club has performed very well in its first five matches by winning three in a roll and drawing two.
The club has however performed not so well in its last four matches as they lost three in a roll, both home and away and drew one at home.
On the Match Day 6 game which ended the ‘win or draw’ starting record, the club lost a humiliating 3-1 to Sunyani side, Young Apostles at the Sunyani Coronation Park. March Day 7 saw an impressive performance from the Believers as they hosted Techiman City at the Wa Park which however ended 3-2 in favor of Techiman city. On Match Week 8, Suntaa SC visited Tamale side, Real Tamale United (RTU) at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium and suffered a loss of 2-1 at the end of the stipulated 90 minutes.
The Wa side narrowly escaped another defeat from Paga Crocodile Stars on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, Match Week 9 at the Wa Malik Jabril Park as Abdul Moisdeen last minute strike came as a relief for the Believers.
The Believers has won one, drew three and lost one of its last five home matches (W1, D3, and L1). In the other hand, they have won two and lost two of their four away matches (W2 and L2).
The club has scored 10 and conceded 10 goals in both home and away matches.
The Believers is placed 10th position with 11 points on the DOL table after the Match Week 8.
