TWO SECURITY MEN KILLED IN WA, FEAR AND PANIC SPREADS AMONG RESIDENTS

Wa, Ghana - A tragic incident has rocked the Upper West Region as two security men were brutally killed in Wa on Monday night, leaving residents in a state of fear and panic.

According to eyewitnesses, one of the security men was stationed at the Wa East district education office located at Wa-Konta, while the other was on duty at Wa model school in Wa. The circumstances surrounding the killings are still unclear, but sources indicate that the victims were attacked by unknown assailants.

The killing of the two security men has sent shockwaves throughout the region, with many residents recalling the similar attacks on night security men in Wa in 2022. Those incidents left many wondering if the recent murders are a continuation of a larger pattern of violence.

"The way they were killed is very disturbing," said a resident who did not want to be named. "It's like they were targeted because they were doing their job. We are living in fear now."

The Wa police have begun investigating the killings, and officials have assured residents that everything is being done to apprehend those responsible.

Meanwhile, the Regional Security Council, led by Regional Minister Stephen Yakubu, has also convened an emergency meeting to discuss the matter and come up with a plan to ensure the safety of residents.

"We are taking this incident very seriously and will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that those responsible are brought to justice," said Minister Yakubu during his tour of the crime scenes with the police.
