Suleman Baako donates to NPP youth and women groups

A youth and political activist and a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Suleman Mohammed known to many as Suleman Baako has made a donation to some youth and women groups in Wa.

He donated boxes of hand-sanitizers, party T-shirts and undisclosed amounts of money to some youth and women groups in the Wa Central Constituency a week ahead of the December 2020 polls.

He made the donation on Monday, November 30, 2020 during a campaign engagement with the groups at Mangu and Jengbeyiri.

The groups Mr Suleman, who is also the Director of Operations at the party’s Upper West Regional Youth Wing, interacted with include youth and women of Mangu, a suburb of Wa and the leadership of Jonjo Palace, a youth group in Wa.

While interacting with the groups, Suleman Baako pleaded with them to retain president Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo in the upcoming December polls, pointing out to the benefits and opportunities they stand to gain by doing so.

He has also urged them to repose confidence in the NPP Wa Central parliamentary candidate, Hajia Humu Awudu as the next Member of Parliament for the constituency.

Suleman Baako stressing the need to vote for Hajia Humu Awudu, said, she is already doing a lot to ensure the challenges and sufferings of the constituents are reduced and therefore should be given the mandate to represent them in the next Parliament.

Speaking with Mr Suleman, he noted that the gesture was intended to facilitate door-to-door movement to canvass votes for HE Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo and Hajia Humu Awudu.

Suleman Baako is an advocate for compliance with the rule of law and justice. He has led petitions against alleged “wrongful removal or suspension” of party officers, the recent one being the suspension of the party’s Regional Youth Organizer, Luri Tia Bosco who was subsequently reinstated.
