Seontaa Boor quiz competition improved in schools participation

The Chairman of the planning committee for the Daga-Wili Seontaa Boor, Mr Mathias Gangana, has stated that the Seontaa Boor quiz competition has witnessed an increase in school participation this year.

The quiz competition, which typically commences on the third of January every year and involves both Junior High School (JHS) and Senior High School (SHS) students, has seen a surge in school participation this year.

Speaking to Info Radio in Vieri, Mr Gangana noted that the quiz is designed to aid students in their learning process. He added that the number of participating schools has risen significantly compared to previous years.

Mr. Gangana lamented the lack of student determination and insufficient supervision by teachers and parents for the poor performance of the competitors.

According to him, the lack of textbooks in schools is a key factor that hinders students' academic performance.
