The residents of Pizaga, a community in the Tabiasi Electoral Area in the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa District, have said they depend on one borehole for water supply.
They said borehole is located in one part of the community and inaccessible to residents in other parts, which compel them to drink from a stream.
They residents said the situation has predisposed them to waterborne diseases.
Speaking to Info Radio at the community, Leticia Naawuo the issue of water is affecting the productive of women in the community.
Vida Naawuo said the situation is usually better in the rainy situation, but very difficult in the dry season.
Ngmendambo Evans, another resident, said they share the river which they rely on for water supply in the dry season with cattle, a situation he could not fathom how feasible both humans and animals can drink from the same water body.
