Residents of Gongo, Gongyogloo, and Guomaal communities in the Dabo Electoral Area of the Wa West District are facing severe challenges due to the lack of electricity and poor network connectivity.
The situation according to the residents is negatively affecting their daily lives.
According to Mr. Chejane Eric, a unit committee member for the Dabo Electoral Area, the poor telephone network and lack of electricity in those communities are making it difficult for them to make calls and run their businesses.
He added that the lack of electricity has even forced them to trek to Kulkpali to charge their phones. The residents are feeling neglected and frustrated by the lack of basic amenities.
They have been facing this problem for a long time, and despite numerous complaints to the authorities, nothing has been done to address their concerns. The situation is particularly challenging for those who depend on electricity to run their businesses.
The lack of power is affecting their productivity and profitability, making it difficult for them to make ends meet. The residents are now calling on the authorities to take urgent steps to resolve the issue and provide them with the basic amenities they need to live a decent life.
They are hopeful that their plea will be heard, and the necessary action will be taken soon.
