The youth wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Nadowli-Kaleo constituency has successfully launched a football gala across all zones in the constituency, fostering unity and uncovering local talent.
The Chari Zone witnessed an exhilarating match where Saan-Sampina triumphed over Nanga with a narrow 1-0 victory.
The NDC Youth Organizer for the Nadowli-Kaleo constituency, Remus Kpan, highlighted the primary objectives of the gala. He said the event is designed to bring the youth together and to identify potential talents within the communities.
He added that football is a powerful tool for unity, and he believes it can help build stronger bonds among the young people going in the 2024 general elections.
The game is supported by the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumani Bagbin and the Member of Parliament, Anthony Mwinkaara Sumah.
The opening match in the Chari Zone drew significant attention and support from both local residents and key figures within the NDC. The event was graced by the presence of the Regional Youth Organizer, Mr. Basiera Sankara, as well as the constituency youth organizers for Lambusie and Daffiama-Bussie-Issa, demonstrating strong solidarity and encouragement from the party's leadership.
Mr. Basiera Sankara, in his address, commended the organizers and participants for their enthusiasm and dedication. The narrow victory of Saan-Sanpina over Nanga was celebrated with much excitement, setting a spirited tone for the subsequent matches in the gala.
