Residents of Kakyuu in the Eggu electoral Area in the Wa West District have bemoaned the lack of school in the community, express dire need for school.
In an interview with Info Radio in the community, Mr. Noyaarong Ngmennye and Tendaana Angpennuba said the community has over 300 children, but none of them have never been to the classroom.
They said the children have to travel many kilometers before they can access school at Dabo and Kpilee. According to them politicians have being promising to build a KG in the community since 2016 but have never fulfilled their promises.
Mr. Samuel Engmene, another resident stated that, children can’t go to school during the rainy season because some unscrupulous people are always attacking them on the away.
Adding their displeasure, madam Ama and Sunuore said the children don’t go to farms but there is no option due to lack of schools in the community.
They said they have been voting every four years but they don’t get any results, mentioning that coming election year there will be no vote in their community.
