I'll link Upper West to the international community and lobby for its development – Kuoro Baninye II


An aspiring Council of State member in the Upper West Region, Kuoro Bareche Nlowie Baninye II, says he will link the region to the international community and lobby for development to the region.


He said leadership is an opportunity to develop the people rather than to seek the once personal interest. Kuoro Baninye II who said this in an interview with Info Radio in Wa when he was asked about his bit to contest in the Council of State elections, noted that, leadership is actually to serve and not to be served.


Kuoro Baninye II, who is the Divisional Chief for Niator, therefore advanced the need for the delegates in the region to choose a development oriented person to represent the region at Council of State.


He urged the delegates to give him the opportunity to represent and develop region for the betterment of all.


Kuoro Baninye II is also the Permanent Vice President for the Zini Traditional Council.


Kuoro Baninye II further stated that, leaders should developed the skilled of lobbying for the region. He said that is the only way a council of State Member will contribute to the development of his area.


Kuoro Baninye II has served as a traditional ruler of the area for about 21 years. He is also expert in mediation and has championed the development of his jurisdiction, especially in the educational sector.
