The Upper West Regional Minister, Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih has urged Ghanaians to have faith in the government as it works hard to mitigate the economic hardships in the country.
He said things are really hard but urged that the government is trying its best to make life better for Ghanaians.
Dr. Salih said this on Info Radio’s morning conversation, Zienyaaye Upper West with host Gbriel Mwini on Monday, October 31, 2022.
He added that the economic hardship was not only a problem of Ghana but a crisis of the whole world.
Dr. Salih said the economic hardships currently experienced in the country were fundamentally due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine war.
He said due to that a lot of countries were suffering, not only Ghana, because the two countries are major suppliers oil and fertilizer to most countries.
He indicated that the government cared about the welfare of Ghanaians, hence working tirelessly to bring relief to Ghanaians.
He therefore pleaded that the people should have patience with the government as they try to put things together.
