GNAT-LAS Honours Millicent Zuuri for Dedicated Service and Leadership


The gorgeous and ever decorated female educationist Millicent Zuuri (Mrs) who celebrated academic success early this month’s as she bagged Mphil Environment and Resource Management, continues to be in the best mode of celebration as she receives national honour (citation of honour) from the Ghana National Association of Teachers Ladies Society (GNAT-LAS) for dedicated and committed leadership haven served as an immediate past national chairperson of GNAT- LAS. In her over two decades of teaching, she has served in various capacities as GNAT representative from school to becoming the Chairperson of GNAT-LAS.


Her leadership as GNAT- LAS National Chairperson (2019- 2021) was the most turbulent given the outbreak of the COVID- 19, remarkably she has inspired her Executive Committee and major reforms and meetings schedules were carried out while minimizing the risk of spreading the various.


The citation as cited on social media platforms reads;

Millicent Zuuri (Mrs) receives this citation of honour on 23rd Novermber, 2021 at Abankro GNAT Village, Ejisu- Kumasi in the Asante Region. The loud crown and applause as she walk on stage to receive the citation was a standing ovation in recognition of her success.


Zuuri Millicent (Mrs) holds a Master of Philosophy Degree in Environment and Resource Management, Bachelor of Art Integrated Development Studies, all from the University for Development Studies, Ghana. She also holds a degree in Teacher Certificate A from N.J. Ahmadiyya College of Education, Wa- Upper West Region.


Millicent Zuuri (Mrs) is also a business entrepreneur, a devoted catholic and a motivational speaker who is grooming and building the professional competence of young girls and ladies.
