Mr Boniface Tienaah has won the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa (DBI) constituency chairmanship of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) with 359 votes at the just-ended constituency elections.
Other aspirants in the chairmanship position were Mr Ambrose Banaaleh and Mr Philip Boye.
Mr Tienaah, in his victory speech, express his appreciation to the delegates for the trust reposed in him and appealed to those who lost to support them in executing their mandate.
Mr Tienaah also called on all party members in the constituency to remain united after elections in other to seize power 2024 general election.
In the constituency Secretary race, Mr James Wor retained his position with 255 votes against Mr Batuurobanoba Sorgbee and Batholomew Monsoseiyiri.
Mr Wor noted that the delegates are satisfied with his work as Secretary and as he is retained, he will deliver more to the development of the party in the constituency.
On his part, Hon. Sebastian Saandary, Member of Parliament for the Daffiama DBI Constituency called on the elected executives and their contestants to come together to build the party towards the general election.
