The incumbent Member of Parliament for Jirapa Constituency, Cletus Seidu Dapilaah, has retained the seat on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to certified results from the Electoral Commission, he polled 23,563 votes to beat his lone contender, the New Patriotic Party's Ayisha Salifu, who got 6,665.
Out of a total voter population of 52,830, 30,801 votes were cast, 30,228 of which were valid and 573 rejected.
Meanwhile, in the Presidential Election, Mr John Dramani Mahama, the NDC Presidential Candidate, polled 24,181 votes, while Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia of the NPP polled 3,992 votes.
Mr Cletus Seidu Dapilah first won the seat in 2020 with 25,175 votes, against his only contender, Mr Paul Derigubaa of the NPP, who managed only 9,366 votes.
