Dr Farzam Kamalabadi, Executive Chairman of Future Trends Group, alongside Mr Faramarz Rahmani, CEO of Magix Australia, is set to launch a groundbreaking initiative to boost internet connectivity, empower local youth with digital skills, and unlock the carbon credit potential of the Buwa Traditional Area.
The Buwa Traditional Area in the Sissala West District of the Upper West Region has long faced challenges due to poor internet access, limited education, business growth, and global economic participation.
This ambitious project, backed by Future Trends, Magix Australia, and Zero13, will introduce high-speed internet across the region, opening doors for businesses, enhancing online education, and improving government services.
“By connecting the Buwa Kingdom to the global digital economy, we are laying the foundation for sustainable economic and social development,” said Mr. Rahmani.
Once reliable internet is established, targeted training programs in IT, artificial intelligence, and cyber security will equip local youth with valuable skills, enabling them to secure remote jobs with global firms — reducing unemployment and reversing urban migration.
Additionally, the project will monetize Buwa's vast natural carbon credits. Through advanced tracking and certification, the team will sell these credits on the global market, generating sustainable revenue to fund local infrastructure, education, and business initiatives.
